On 8/18/15, investigation by ELTPD Officer Matt Hess lead to the arrest of David Rodney HUMPHRIES, age 35, of Lancaster, for the 8/16 residential burglary on Mondale Rd.   HUMPHRIES, who is currently out on bail on other burglary charges, was discovered to be residing at a nearby residence.    Investigation by Ofc Hess lead to the recovery of the stolen ring at a Lancaster Pawn shop and the discovery that the stolen Euro currency had been exchanged at a local bank.   HUMPHRIES was arraigned before MDJ Joshua Keller on charges of Burglary (F-2), Theft by Unlawful taking (M-1) and Theft by Deception (M-2) and was committed to Lancaster Co. Prison.

On 8/16/15, ELTPD responded to a discovered burglary and theft at a residence in the 900 blk of Mondale Rd.  Resident had returned home and discovered that sometime between, Saturday evening 8/15 and Sunday afternoon 8/16, forced entry had been made into the residence.    An undetermined amount of Euro currency and a men's gold ring with initials "HB" engraved on top were reported stolen.   Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip or contact ELTPD at (717) 291-4676.
