Police Officer (full and part-time) – The East Earl Township Police Department (Lancaster County) is inviting qualified persons to apply for the positions of full and part-time police officer. Applications are available at the East Earl Township Police Station, 128 Toddy Drive, East Earl, PA 17519.

East Earl Township is located in picturesque northeast Lancaster County.  The East Earl Township Police Department patrols nearly 25 square miles and serves approximately 6800 residents.  The Township is a popular tourist destination and is also home to generational farms, residential areas, and several large businesses.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

All requirements must be met at the time of appointment:

• At least 21 years of age.
• United States citizen and Resident of Pennsylvania with a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be of good moral character.
• Physically and psychologically capable of performing the duties of a police officer.
• No misdemeanor or felony convictions.
• Able to testify in a court of law.
• Maintain Act 120 certification throughout employment.

Applicants must meet the requirements of Act 120 for certification as a municipal police officer prior to appointment. The police department has a policy against visible tattoos, visible body piercings, and visible body art.
