The East Earl Township Police Department arrested Tara K. Suter of East Earl for Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Resisting Arrest, Flight to Avoid Apprehension on Foot, and a warrant service.  On August 15, 2026, Suter fled from officers on foot due to an outstanding felony arrest warrant held by the East Earl Township Police Department.  Suter was located in a corn field where she physically resisted officers attempting to take her into custody.  Suter was transported to Lancaster County Prison.  Suter was arraigned by MDJ Heisse.  Judge Heisse set Suter's bail at $5,000.  Suter was unable to post bail.

The public is reminded that criminal charges are merely accusations.  Suter is PRESUMED INNOCENT.
