UPDATE #2:  On September 28, 2026, Martin was extradited to from Texas to the East Earl Township Police Department.  Martin was arraigned by MDJ Torrey Landis.  Judge Landis set Martin's bail at $200,000.  Martin was unable to post bail and was committed to Lancaster County Prison to await future court proceedings.  Martin is PRESUMED INNOCENT.  

UPDATE:  Martin was apprehended on September 18, 2026 by the Harris County Sheriff (Texas) Department.  Martin is currently awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

The East Earl Township Police Department holds an active arrest warrant for Clifford T. Martin, Jr. of Houston, Texas.  Martin is wanted for Forgery and Theft By Deception.  It is alleged that on January 20, 2026, Martin attempted to deposit a check for $30,755.00 issued by the victim using stolen bank account information.  It is further alleged that Martin forged the check to reflect a different payee.
