A Nottingham woman – who skipped trial - was recently convicted of repeatedly threatening and harassing a woman during May and June 2018.
Pamela Ann See, 47, was convicted of misdemeanor terroristic threats and harassment following a two-day jury trial in Lancaster County Court.
See Facebook messaged, text messaged and called the victim, and also showed up at her house.
In a phone call, See told the victim, “Today is the day you die.”
See did not appear for trial, but was convicted and sentenced while an attorney represented her, according to Assistant District Attorney Cody Wade, who won the conviction.
Lancaster County Judge Jeffery Wright sentenced See to 1 to 12 months in prison, followed by four years of probation.
See remains on the lam; there is a warrant for her arrest.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact their local police department or submit a tip via this CrimeWatch page.
ADA Wade presented evidence to jurors about the series of threats and harassing behavior.
It started with See – a stranger to the victim – sending a Facebook message in which she threatens to “beat the living dog (expletive) out of you.”
Police determined the victim is the ex of See’s boyfriend.
See also sent text messages, called from a blocked phone number and showed up at the victim’s house, pacing and yelling about how she was going to beat the victim.
Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Frank Gawel filed charges.
