The District Attorney's Office filed various charges this morning against Corry M. Brooks, resulting from the incident on June 26 in Lancaster Township wherein an officer fired multiple shots at Brooks after he nearly struck an officer on two occasions and rammed a police cruiser. Brooks fled the scene. It is unknown whether Brooks was injured.
Detectives filed charges of Aggravated Assault, Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Institutional Vandalism and Accidents Involving Damage to Property. ADA Cody Wade approved the filing of the charges. Brooks is still wanted on these charges and has additional felony warrants for previous separate incidents.
