A Lancaster man will face felony drug and firearms charges in Lancaster County Court.
Charges were held over against 45-year-old Qian L. Myers, following a recent preliminary hearing.
Assistant District Attorney Kyle Linardo presented testimony from a Pennsylvania State Police Vice Unit investigator who filed the charges.
As police were watching Myers’ home on North Marshall Street on Oct. 8 regarding suspected drug dealing, Myers – on a DUI-related suspended license - exited the home and drove a white Buick, according to Trooper Timothy Richartz’s testimony.
Police stopped the Buick at New Holland Avenue and North Plum Street. Myers was the only person in the vehicle and had three bags of cocaine, according to testimony.
A loaded 9mm pistol was found under the driver’s seat.
Myers is at Lancaster County Prison on $50,000 bail. He is presumed innocent.
