A Mountville man has been charged with disseminating explicit sexual material via electronic communication, indecent exposure, open lewdness, and harassment regarding inappropriate messages sent from his Facebook account.
Jayson Drouillard, 43, sent two lewd and sexually explicit videos of himself to the victim through Facebook Messenger on December 4.
Drouillard was previously a police officer with the Lancaster City Bureau of Police and was not employed in this position at the time of this incident.
Lancaster City Bureau of Police responded to a call for a report of harassment at 10:50 p.m. on December 4. The victim indicated two videos were sent from Drouillard, the first at 7:49 p.m. and the second at 9:35 p.m.
The sender sent additional messages of “you like, yes or no” at 9:01 p.m. and “Hi” at 9:51 p.m.
The victim reported she had received messages from the same Facebook account several weeks before this incident.
Lancaster City Bureau of Police preserved the messages and videos and were able to identify that the videos depicted Drouillard and were taken in the bathroom of Drouillard’s residence at the time. City Police referred this case to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office for further investigation.
Lancaster County Detective Brent Shultz filed charges on December 20. The following day, County Detectives, with the assistance of West Hempfield Township Police Department, executed the arrest warrant for Drouillard along with a search warrant for his residence.
Drouillard is presumed innocent.
