A three-month investigation uncovered a marijuana grow operation and a large cache of THC products at a West Hempfield Township home.
The Lancaster County Drug Task Force also found over $20,000 in cash at Paul Katherman Jr.’s home in the 4500 block of Klinesville Road.
Katherman is charged with six felonies and a misdemeanor. He waived a preliminary hearing this week when all charges were held over for disposition in Lancaster County Court.
Katherman, 47, is presumed innocent. He posted $100,000 bail via a bondsman.
Drug Task Force detectives raided the home on Oct. 15, found and seized:
- 41 live marijuana plants which were being grown indoors
- 1,495 grams (3.3. pounds) of dry marijuana
- 3,840 grams (8.5 pounds) of THC gummies
- 1,007 grams (2.2 pounds) of THC wax
- 232 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
- 108 THC vape cartridges
- Various paraphernalia
The Lancaster County Drug Task Force operates under District Attorney Heather Adams and targets mid- to upper-level drug dealing in the county.
