A Columbia man is charged with felony drug-dealing after the Lancaster County Drug Task Force found bulk fentanyl powder and packaged methamphetamine at a home on Goldfinch Drive in West Hempfield Township, Columbia.
Jeffrey Warren Shackelford, 47, is charged with two counts of Possession With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Fentanyl, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Shackelford, who is presumed innocent, was incarcerated on $175,000 bail.
Detectives with the Lancaster County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the home late last week and seized approximately 87 grams of methamphetamine, 15 grams of fentanyl, a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia that included packaging material, digital scales and approximately $8,280.00 in U.S. Currency. The majority of the drugs were seized from a "Pik-Nik" brand potato-stick snack can.
Most of the drugs pictured above were contained in a hollowed out compartment in the bottom of the "Pik-Nik" snack container.
The methamphetamine has an estimated street value of $6,960 and the fentanyl has an estimated street value of $1,500.
Rebecca Valentine was also arrested at the home on several outstanding warrants and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both are presumed innocent.
Members of the West Hempfield Township Police Department assisted with the raid.
