Lancaster Township police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect who stole a refrigerator from an apartment complex.

The unknown suspect, described as a Black male, was seen on security camera footage taking the refrigerator from the 100 block of Dickens Drive in the Hawthorne Gardens community on June 25, 2026.

The suspect, operating a silver GMC pickup truck, backed the vehicle up to a patio, loaded the refrigerator onto the truck bed and then left the area.

Kitchen appliances had been temporarily placed on a patio during an apartment renovation. The refrigerator was stolen during that time.
