Law enforcement has identified Michael Anthony Boccia, 36, as a person of interest in connection to a homicide this morning in Manheim Borough.

Boccia is believed to reside in York city and is believed to be driving a red or maroon four-door sedan with tinted windows.

Police believe Boccia may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who is aware of Boccia’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. Anyone with information related to this incident is urged to call the Manheim Police Department at 717-665-2481.

Police in Manheim Borough are investigating a shooting that left one person dead this morning.

Officers responded to the shooting in the first block of North Main Street in Manheim Borough at 7:31 a.m. The shooting appears to have been related to a domestic incident.

A suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. The suspect’s whereabouts are currently unknown. 

Information on the deceased victim is being withheld at this time, pending the notification of next of kin. 

More details about this incident will be provided at a later time as information continues to be gathered.

Lancaster County Detectives are assisting Manheim Borough police in this investigation.
