Manheim Township police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect who attempted to steal a purse from a McDonald’s restaurant.

The unknown male was seen on video surveillance taking the purse from a booth inside the restaurant at 1434 Manheim Pike on June 26, 2026. The suspect was then seen exiting the restaurant and entering a blue Honda Civic being driven by an unknown female in the parking lot of a neighboring dispensary.

The suspect later returned the purse to the restaurant, claiming he thought it was his grandmother’s.
