Lancaster city police are asking the public for information regarding a shooting that took place in the city’s southeastern Stevens neighborhood last night.

Officers responded to the 600 block of East Mifflin Street for a reported shooting shortly before 8 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2026.

Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from apparent gunshot-related injuries. The victim was taken to a local medical facility for treatment.

Detectives are actively working on the investigation and do not believe there is any danger to the public at this point.
