On March 15, 2021 at approximately 21:45 hours, Christiana Borough Police observed a vehicle make numerous traffic violations in the area of South Bridge Street and Gay Street in Christiana Borough.

A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.

The vehicle operator was identified as Valerie SYLVESTER.

Police were able to detect the odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. SYLVESTER gave police consent to search the interior of the vehicle.

Found in the vehicle were several small ziploc type bags of heroin, small amounts of marijuana, and numerous types of drug paraphernalia.

SYLVESTER was placed under arrest for the listed charges and transported to Lancaster County Prison.
