The Chambersburg Police Department is pleased to announce and introduce our three newest police officers.  Last December, the CPD and the Borough welcomed three police cadets after a unanimous vote by the Borough Council.  From January through June 2026, all three completed their required training and passed the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) certification examination, earning their ACT 120 certification.  This morning, per Borough Code, all three were sworn in by Mayor Hock in front of family and friends.  Please welcome Officers Farris, Horst, and Wenger to the Chambersburg Police Department.  They now begin their Field Training with experienced officers.  We are so proud of these new officers, and we welcome them to the ranks of the Chambersburg Police Department.
