On 05/17/2026, CPD responded to the 100 block of S Third St for a hit and run. A silver Toyota Corolla was struck while it was legally parked on the roadway.  The reporting person informed CPD that the hit and run more than likely occurred earlier in the morning, around 0400 hours.
