On 3/3/2026 at 6:45 pm, Chambersburg Police responded to Wayne Avenue at the Interstate 81 South ramp for an auto accident.  Units arrived on the scene to find that a tractor-trailer had left the roadway and was blocking part of Wayne Avenue.  No one was injured, but the roadway is expected to remain closed for an extended period while the tractor-trailer is removed.  The Chambersburg Police Department is asking individuals to avoid the area until the tractor-trailer can be removed.
