On Friday, January 26, 2026, at approximately 14:30 hours, the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department responded to the intersection of Chester Pike and Clifton Avenue for a reported attempted carjacking.

Upon arrival, patrol officers made contact with the victim and witnesses, who provided a description of the actor, later identified as Marc Tunstall. A short distance away in Folcroft, officers located Tunstall, who had attempted to carjack another person and assault an innocent bystander while they were pumping gas.

Tunstall was charged and subsequently transferred to Chester County Prison. 

The Sharon Hill Police Department would like to extend its gratitude to the Folcroft Police Department, Darby Township Police Department, and Darby Borough Police Department for their assistance in this incident.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
