The Blizzard Warning remains in effect from 10:00 AM today through 6:00 PM Monday for our area and surrounding portions of southeast Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey.
We encourage everyone to prepare now, check on elderly neighbors, charge electronic devices, and make sure you have adequate supplies on hand.
Our officers will be out monitoring conditions, but your cooperation in staying off the roads will help keep everyone safe . ❄️
🌨️ What to Expect: 16–22 inches of snow Snowfall rates possibly exceeding 2 inches per hour Wind gusts up to 45 mph Significant blowing and drifting snow Visibility near zero at times
🚗 Travel Impacts: Travel conditions are expected to be very difficult to impossible, especially during the Monday morning and evening commutes. Blowing snow will greatly reduce visibility, and gusty winds may bring down tree branches, potentially causing isolated power outages.
⚠️ Safety Reminders: Please restrict travel to emergencies only If you must travel, carry a winter survival kit If you become stranded, stay with your vehicle For the latest road conditions, dial 511
