On Saturday September 26th, at approximately 9:00 am, Lower Chichester Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Ridge Rd for the report of a physical domestic situation between a male and female.

Arriving Officers witnessed the defendant, Malaya Bowers in the street yelling at another female.  Through the investigation, Officers learned that Bowers had been invited to the residence by a male, however, Bowers allegedly became confrontational and physically aggressive with the male victim when he told her to leave.

Based on victim's statements, as well as injuries observed by Officers, it is alleged that Bowers struck the male with a closed fist, multiple times in the face.  As Officers were interviewing witnesses and victims, Bowers could be heard making threats towards Officers, bystanders as well as the victim.  In fact, Officers did hear Bowers threaten to kill the victim.
