The Swatara Township Police Department would like to thank everyone who came out to support our 1st Annual 5K Hero Run on November 3rd, 2013. We could not have made this a great event without your support! There were a total of 215 registered runners/walkers for the event. As a reminder, if you would like to see your official time please visit www.motiontiming.com. We appreciate everyone’s feedback and will be making some changes for next year to make this event even better. Pictures of the event have now been posted on our police department’s Facebook page. Please check them out! Runners who were not present to receive their award will be receiving them through the mail. Please save the date as the 2nd Annual 5K Hero Run will be taking place on November 2nd, 2014! Stay tuned to see the new logo for next year. Registration for the race will start in May of 2014. Please spread the word about this race as we hope it will grow in years to come.
