The Swatara Township Police Department would like to thank the parents, guardians and others for their patience today as they dropped off and picked up their students for their first day of classes at the Steelton-Highspire School District.  The safety of the students is of the utmost importance to our Police Department and the School District.  We believe that this new traffic pattern will make pick up and drop off safer for students.  

We will continue to work with the School District in order to make morning drop off and afternoon pick up more efficient.
