The Swatara Township Police Department dropped off some backpacks at Tri-C Elementary School today which contained food items, drinks and dental hygiene products. These packs will help supplement the school’s Nutripack program which is already in place. Backpacks can be given out to students and their families who are in need of these supplemental items. The packs were filled by several township employees including Commissioner’s Connolly, Bouder and Ellis along with Cpl. Pokrop and several volunteers. It is important to have community involvement as we start this new year so that we can build upon last year and continuously try to build stronger relationships with those we serve.
