***UPDATE*** 9/18/26 - Further investigation concluded with the arrest of Kyree Spence of Harrisburg. Spence was charged with 1 count of Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon. He was arraigned at Dauphin County Night Court and was released on $50,000 unsecured bail. 

On 9/17/26 at 1212 hours, Swatara Police were dispatched to the parking lot of PetCo, located at 4621 High Pointe Boulevard, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, police located two subjects determined to be involved. One male suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital by EMS in stable condition. One male was taken into custody. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there does not appear to be any danger to the public. 

This investigation is being conducted by the Swatara Township Police in conjunction with the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office.
