Over the course of the past couple of years, we have received several CrimeWatch submissions for crimes in progress.  Our CrimeWatch page is monitored daily, however depending on the current call volume, submissions may not be observed in a time frame that would allow for an immediate response to stop a crime in progress. 

If you are witnessing a crime in progress, please report it through Dauphin County Communications by calling 911. 

If you are reporting a crime that is not in progress or another issue that is not of emergency nature, please call the Swatara Township Police Department at 717-564-2550 during normal working hours.  After hours call the Dauphin County Communications Center non-emergency line at 717-558-6900. 

Non-emergency requests for service where a timely response it not required, and tips can be provided through a CrimeWatch submission.
