The Swatara Township Police Department will be hosting their annual National Night Out against crime event TOMORROW at Vanatta Park.  

National Night Out is taking place on 8/4/26 from 6pm until 8:30pm at Vanatta Park (behind the 7-11 store on Derry Street).  Street parking is available for guests throughout the neighborhoods. We encourage guests to park along the streets north of Derry Street and then cross over Derry Street to the park.  There will be Fire Police on site at each crosswalk on Derry Street to assist with pedestrian crossing.  National Night Out is FREE to attend, open to the general public and will feature free hot dogs, pizza, chips, drinks, Hershey's ice cream, popcorn (all while supplies last), inflatables for kids, gaming trailer, kinetic energy shaved ice machine, music, over 60 vendors, static displays of emergency response vehicles, Critter Connections, helicopter landing from Stat MedEvac around 8pm and much more!  Come on out to our Department's largest community service event and meet our officers on a more personal level.  It is everyone's responsibility to take a stand against crime and work together to help keep our neighborhoods safe.  We hope to see you there!
