Swatara Township will be hosting their annual Labor Day Fireworks Celebration event this Saturday, September 5th, from 4pm until 9:45pm. NEW THIS YEAR: The food, music and family activities will be taking place at IVY RIDGE PARK, located at 900 Harvard Court in Swatara Township from 4pm until 9pm. The FIREWORKS will be launched at 9:15pm from Bishop Park (south side). Due to the construction at Bishop Park (north side), there is NO PUBLIC PARKING AVAILABLE AT BISHOP PARK. Spectactors who want to view the fireworks should plan to park throughout the local communities that are close to the launch site.
There will be parking avaible at Ivy Ridge Park and Fire Police will be on scene to assist with motorists. The celebration at Ivy Ridge Park will begin at 4pm where there will be a DJ playing music and fun family activities to include inflatables for kids, a rock climbing wall, 2 amusement rides for younger children and 10 food trucks! A live band will be performing from 6pm until 9pm. If you are interested in watching the fireworks display at Bishop Park, we encourage you to leave Ivy Ridge Park early enough to find closer parking prior to the start of the show at 9:15pm.
NO PARKING WILL BE AVAILABLE AT BISHOP PARK DUE TO CONSTRUCTION: SPECTATORS WILL NEED TO PARK IN THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES TO WATCH THE SHOW.
