Come join the Swatara Police, to include McGruff the Crime Dog and the Director of Public Safety Darrell Reider, for a Tree Lighting and curbside Holiday Treat Pickup event on Tuesday December 8th from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Rainbow Hills Swim Club (behind the Swatara Township municipal building) located at 4075 Swatara Drive.  We are encouraging participants to drive through the front parking lot of the Swatara Township Municipal building to gaze upon all of the holiday decorations.  Afterwards, families can make their way to the parking lot area of the Rainbow Hills Swim Club for a Holiday Treat Pickup.  Children in attendance will receive a goodie bag.  We do ask that everyone stay in their vehicle during the treat pickup.  Participants may stop by the Holiday Treat Pickup event anytime between 6:30pm and 7:30pm.  Children 12 and under who are residents of Swatara Township or Paxtang Borough may download the attached picture and enter the coloring contest.  Bring your colored picture to the event or drop it off at the municipal building (drop box provided) by 4:00pm on Friday, December 11 for a chance to win a prize.     

The  municipal building holiday decorations will be on display through January 8, 2021.
