Swatara Township is hosting a NEW Halloween Walk-Thru event tomorrow night (10/27/22) at Vanatta Park from 6pm to 7:30pm. There will be a total of 22 vendors on site to include the Swatara Township Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Highway Department and of course your Swatara Township Police Department. Children are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costume. This is a FREE public event! There are no tricks but there will be plenty of treats and we hope to see you there!
Additional Information:
Each participant will be provided a Halloween candy bag at the beginning of the walk-thru. The Halloween Walk-Thru will start near the basketball court and will continue along the walking trail. Each vendor will be handing out candy to children as they stop by at each table. Participants can arrive anytime between 6pm-7:30pm in order to participate. We anticipate the walk-thru taking approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
Vanatta Park is located in the 4800 block of Derry Street (behind the 7-11 convenience store) along Cedar Alley in Swatara Township. Public parking will be provided on the west side of the park (in the grass of the large baseball field).
