While conducting an investigation at the Steelton-Highspire High School, Swatara Township Police recovered a loaded firearm from a vehicle parked in the parking lot. The owner of the vehicle, Steven Stoney, Jr., who is employed by the school district, was taken into custody for one count of Possession of a weapon on school property. He was transported without incident to the Dauphin County Booking Center for processing and was then released pending a preliminary hearing.
