The incident at 3204 Crest Road has been stabilized. Residents are permitted back in their homes, and UGI will be on scene through the night. The actions of the Progress Fire Company and Police Department were Heroic in their initial response to the odor of gas call. The Susquehanna Township Police Department commends the Progress and Rescue Fire Department, all assisting Fire Companies, the Susquehanna Township EMS Units and all assisting EMS Units for their assistance in this unfortunate incident today. As of this reporting, only two non-life threatening injuries are known. Additionally, we thank the members of the District Attorneys Arson Investigation Team for their Professional Assistance in this incident. The Township Police, Fire, and Codes Department will be continuing to work with the residents on Crest Road through the week.
