On 6/8/22 at approximately 9:20 PM, a 4-door red sedan was involved in a hit and run accident in the 400 block of South Front Street. The vehicle struck an unoccupied white Chevrolet Cruze that was parked in the lot of the Raja Quick Pick Mart. The suspect was caught on surveillance exiting the red Sedan and entering the store shortly before the accident. The suspect appears to be an African-American female approximately 20-30 years of age, approximately 5’8”, and was wearing a yellow dress. After the accident, the suspect vehicle fled southbound on South Front Street. The suspect vehicle appears to have damage to the front right near the tire and to the bumper on the right side.
