On 9/17/2021, Steelton Borough Police filed criminal charges against Daniel Caraballo in the death of Jermaine Gould on 6/25/2021 in the 700 block of South 2nd Street. Caraballo has been charged with Criminal Homicide, Carrying a Firearm without a License, Former Felon Not to Possess a Firearm, and Firing a Firearm Into an Occupied Structure. Caraballo is currently incarcerated in a state correctional institution on unrelated charges.
