On Tuesday, August 30th, 2022, at approximately 6:48 PM, Steelton Borough Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Wood Street for a reported stabbing. Officers discovered the victim and transported him to a local hospital for treatment. 

On Friday, September 2nd, 2022, Steelton Borough Police arrested Brian Aponte, age 19 of the 900 block of Wood Street in Steelton, for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault. Mr. Aponte is currently incarcerated at Dauphin County Prison and his bail was denied due to the serious nature of the charges.
