On 11-11-19, Steelton Borough Police were dispatched to the 300 block of South 2nd Street for a report of a theft from a vehicle.  The victim stated to officers that they were looking for a missing purse that was taken from their vehicle, and after finding it in a nearby trash can, noticed cash was missing.  Upon investigation and observing surveillance cameras in the area, officers were able to identify the suspects on video rummaging through the victim's purse and handling money.  Charges have been brought against the identified juvenile offenders.
