The Steelton Borough Police Department reports that on May 14, 2026, at approximately 9:07 PM, officers responded to a report of a male threatening another individual with a firearm in the 100 block of Frank S. Brown Boulevard in the Borough of Steelton.
During the investigation, the victim reported that a verbal altercation escalated when the suspect allegedly produced a handgun and threatened to kill him. Officers obtained a physical description of the suspect and subsequently located and identified the individual as Reynard V. Robinson Jr., age 44, of Steelton.
Further investigation revealed that Robinson is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions and current federal supervision status.
Robinson was later charged with the following: Persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell, or transfer firearms, Firearms not to be carried without a license, Terroristic Threats, Simple Assault by Physical Menace, Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of Marijuana, and possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A federal probation detainer is pending.
