As the new school year begins, the Penbrook Police Department urges drivers to exercise extreme caution when navigating school zones and during the bus pickup and drop-off times.

Our officers have been actively patrolling bus stops and school zones.  Since the beginning of the school year, numerous drivers have been issued citations for speeding in school zones and failing to stop when a school bus displays its red lights.  Our enforcement efforts will persist throughout the academic year.
