On August 25th, 2019 Officers were on patrol when they came upon a publicly intoxicated female stumbling in the roadway. Contact with this female yielded information on a vehicle that she was in early and was dropped off in. She advised that the driver of this vehicle was in town buying marijuana and was supposed to come pick her up afterwards.

While speaking with the intoxicated female a vehicle matching the description of the one she described passed the officer. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and verified that it was the described vehicle and the driver was the male identified by the intoxicated female. He was identified as Cory Stum. Through investigation it was found that he was in possession of multiple marijuana vape cartridges and had purchased them in the borough or surrounding areas. There was also a juvenile female in the vehicle whom he took with him so he could purchase marijuana for her.

Mr. Stum was charged with corruption of minors and drug related charges.
