On Sunday, June 14, 2020 at approximately 2131 hours, MPD received information that a male named "Peter Newport" would arrive at a specific address on Peters Avenue and sell marijuana.  MPD made contact with the resident at the address and were provided further information of who was coming to sell marijuana.  The name provided was "Pete" who drives a red Chrysler PT Cruiser.  MPD staged and later made contact with the suspected marijuana dealer; Peter Jeremy Ruth.  A consent search of his person and his vehicle resulted in finding 4.85 oz of marijuana, 5 THC-filled cartridges and drug paraphernalia.  Ruth was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Center for processing and arraignment on a Felony PWI charge.
