On Saturday, June 6, 2020 at approximately 1456 hours, MPD received word of a fraudulent prescription being picked up by someone at the Middletown Pharmacy; 436 East Main Street. The fraudulent prescription was for 300ml of Codeine and Z-Pak. MPD staged within the pharmacy and waited as one of two of the defendant's entered the store. A short foot pursuit took place; however, the defendant; Angel Daniel Reyes quickly apprehended as he attempted to obtain the fraudulent prescription. Reyes was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Center for processing and arraignment.
