On Sunday, February 2, 2020 at approximately 0136 hours, MPD was on patrol near the intersection of North Wood Street and West Emaus Street.

 At this time, a dark colored pickup truck failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection of North Wood Street and West Emaus Street.  In addition, the tertiary brake light above the rear windshield was also inoperable.  MPD conducted a traffic stop.  The vehicle, a black 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 bearing PA ZME0853 was driven by Aaron Craig Dirks.  Dirks was visibly intoxicated and admitted to consuming alcohol.  Standard Field Sobriety was administered.  As a result of SFST's, Dirks was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Center for processing.
