Highspire Borough is currently experiencing a power outage affecting portions of the community. As a result, several traffic signals west of Ann Street on SR230 are out of service.

Affected intersections include:

• Second Street & Lumber Street
• Second Street & Broad Street
• Second Street & Eisenhower Blvd

Temporary stop signs have been placed at these intersections.

Motorists are urged to use extreme caution when approaching these areas. Treat all intersections as four-way stops and proceed only when it is safe to do so.

According to PPL, estimated restoration times currently range from a few hours to as late as Tuesday evening, depending on the location and extent of necessary repairs. These timelines are subject to change as crews continue working to restore power.

Please remain alert, reduce speed, and allow extra travel time when moving through affected areas.
