The Borough of Highspire would like to remind all residents that discharging fireworks is prohibited without a permit. Fireworks are not allowed within 150 feet of any building or structure, nor can they be discharged in the streets, sidewalks, or Borough parks. The Highspire Police Department is authorized to confiscate any fireworks and issue citations to those who violate the Fireworks Ordinance. A copy of the Fireworks Ordinance is available on the Borough website and is also attached to this notification.
