Due to the ongoing power outage, Highspire Borough has opened the Borough Building as a cooling station for residents.

Location: Highspire Borough Building, 640 Eshelman Street, Highspire, PA

Residents are welcome to cool off, charge essential electronic devices, and access drinking water.

Hours: 12 p.m.- 5 p.m.

According to PPL, power restoration times currently range from a few hours to as late as Tuesday evening, depending on the location and extent of repairs. Restoration estimates may change as crews continue their work.

Please check on elderly neighbors, individuals with medical conditions, and others who may need assistance during this outage.
