On December 23, 2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., police responded to the area of 605 Willow Street after receiving multiple 9-1-1 hang-up calls. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male in the parking lot of the Willow Garden Apartments suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.

With the assistance of the Dauphin County Criminal Investigation Division, the Dauphin County Forensics Team, and the Dauphin County Coroner’s Office, the incident was investigated and determined to be a self-inflicted injury. There is no danger to the community.
