On Monday, January 29, 2024, the Highspire Police Department received a report of a delivered package having been stolen. Upon checking a front door motion, the victim observed this unidentified individual, walk up onto the porch and walk off with his package.

The Highspire Police is attempting to identify this porch pirate and is asking the public for assistance. If you can identify this individual, please submit an anonymous tip at the “Submit A Tip” option. Or contact the Highspire Police Department at 717-939-9866.

Take the following steps to protect yourself from being a victim of porch piracy: Schedule deliveries for times you'll be home or use tracking apps to plan your day around the delivery. You can also coordinate with neighbors to collect packages or set up to pick up package at a hub locker location, strategically placed throughout your community.
