On 7/17/2019 the Highspire Borough public works employees reported vandalism to the concession stand in Memorial Park by unknown persons who also caused damage to the building during the night.

The suspects damaged two door knobs to the north and east sides of the structure. They also set fire to some paper they placed on top of the picnic table. Case currently under investigation.
