The Highspire Borough Police Department is requesting the public's assistance with an arson investigation.

On June 19, 2026, at approximately 7:05 P.M., Highspire Borough Police and Citizens Fire Company were dispatched to Reservoir Park for a reported fire. Upon arrival, responders discovered that the boardwalk along the nature trail was on fire. Following an investigation, the fire was determined to have been intentionally set.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or suspicious persons in the area around the time of the incident to come forward. Any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could assist investigators.
