On Saturday 6/26/2021 @ 1851 hours, Highspire Police were called to Memorial Park for a suspicious person call.  Several youths went to Highspire Fire Dept who in turn called police. When police interviewed the children they were scared of a man who was reportedly wearing a ski mask and watching the children at Memorial Park. The man was reported as holding a cell phone recording children at play. 

Police arrived and located the man, he was wearing a full facial covering  The man was defiant with police and refused all questions. He was using a cellular device and was not supervising any of his own children. He was found at the " TOT LOT " play area.  Police asked him to leave and he began cursing the police using inappropriate language. The man was cited for Disorderly Conduct which was filed at DJ Lenker Office 12-2-02   The man was ID as EDWIN ROJAS-CORDOVA of Highspire. Once ROJAS-CORDOVA left, all the children came back to play at the TOT LOT.
